The Bowen Technique is a form of complementary bodywork therapy which comprises of a series of gentle movements using the thumb and forefinger with frequent pauses between each move. This form of non-invasive therapy manipulates the connective tissue, muscle, or tendon in order to attempt to bring about structural changes within the patient's body.

It is a safe and gentle therapy technique that can be used on patients aged from infant to those of advanced age. The technique is purported to work with body's natural energy flow by establishing vibrational energy patterns. Different parts of the body are impacted as a result of the unique frequencies that are created from the energy vibrations. The Bowen Technique aims to balance and realign the body physically, emotionally, mentally, and chemically.
