What Does Certification Testing Mean?

Certification testing is simply the term for requiring that a prospective employee pass an alcohol and/or drug test before being considered for a specific position that is safety sensitive. In other words, job candidates must prove they will not risk their safety or that of others due to alcohol or drug use. This is also known as pre-placement or applicant testing.

WorkplaceTesting Explains Certification Testing

Certification testing is a term used in Canada to describe the process of passing a drug and alcohol test as part of a larger group of pre-employment tests designed to ensure an applicant is capable of completing job tasks.
