Express to lab testing refers to a drug testing procedure where a urine or saliva sample is tested onsite using an express point of collections multi-drug screen test. Whether the sample is negative or non-negative, the sample is automatically packaged and sealed and sent to a laboratory for a second screening.
Express to lab testing is when a drug test is performed immediately onsite, in front of the donor. Whether the sample is negative or non-negative it will be packaged up and made ready to send to a lab for further testing. This procedure is done as a way of ensuring a higher level of accuracy. If the sample is found to be non-negative at the lab, it will also go through further confirmation tests. This is done again to ensure that the results are completely accurate.
