SureHire explains hypertension

Hypertension is a continued state of high blood pressure. Blood pressure is the force that blood makes against the artery walls. Medical professionals usually measure blood pressure with a cuff and stethoscope in two measurements called systolic pressure and diastolic pressure. The systolic pressure refers to the highest pressure exerted in the arteries by each heartbeat while the diastolic measures the lowest pressure while the heart relaxes in between beats. Hypertension requires constant checks and is a significant expense for company health programs.
